Federal Aviation (South Africa) (7V, Johannesburg, or Tambo) resumes services at 71% of the Safari shuttle network, with seven airfields waiting for regulatory approval from the airline's public relations officer, South Africa's Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA).
The airline, commonly known as Fedea, suspended flights to all unauthorized Game Lodge runways earlier this month and had put on hold on owner compliance with the amended civil aviation requirements for all aerodroms and heliports involved in accredited or approved commercial air transport.
The Fedea safari shuttle transports tourists from Johannesburg or Tambo and Mbombella to Skakuza in Kruger National Park, Private Game Reserve in the Greater Kruger area, Madikwe Game Reserve adjacent to northwest Botswana, and Marakere National Park in Waterburg in Limpopo.
The spokeswoman confirmed that the Fedea fleet consists of 10 Cessna (single turboprop) C208 caravans (including seven C208B Ex Grand Caravans), and four PC-12s (including two PC12NGs).
One beach 1900d, and two E145s.
