The village is one of Sussex's many hidden treasures and has been gaining popularity since Covid, revealing that in 2021, West Maube saw an increase in annual buyer searches by 79% between February 2020 and February 2021. It's a two-hour drive from London and has everything you need to indulge in the comforts of the countryside without a crowd of Norton's chipping,” the publication reported.
However, the RH20 postcode area of Pust Town of Pulborough covers important areas beyond Fittleworth. Includes Palborough, Ashington, Washington, Stollington, West Chil Tington, Berry, Watersfield and Sutton. These charming pockets in Sussex offer more than they are close to the South Downs or typical British senses. I was fortunate to be able to live in the area for several months.

The neighbor's residence in the RH20 postcode, which includes Fittleworth, offers the best world in both worlds to those who live there, especially former rondonners like me who have to commute to the capital.
You can jump on a one-hour direct and 22-minute train ride from Palborough Station, just a 4-minute drive from Fittleworth. This proximity allows 1,000 residents and visitors to enjoy London's vibrant energy and the calm beauty of the countryside in one day.
Buses are rare and rare, so cars are essential for visiting nearby locations like train stations and Chichester.
That said, those who keep up with Brighton's bustling scenes can easily make an hour-long car trip. Alternatively, swap the train at Burnham or three bridges and board the train directly into the city centre.
Of course, obvious attractions to the area include a scenic walk from the entrance, through vineyards, forests and flowing rivers. Fittleworth in particular is a paradise for nature lovers.
The village is lined with walks along the river and through the forest, spanning the river. These walks feature ancient trees and plenty of birdlife.
According to Sussex Local, the village is synonymous with some famous faces. Past residents include explorer and broadcaster Duncan Carse, composer Edward Elgar and artist Charles Sims. Today, Roxy Music Fame singer Bryan Ferry owns a property and property called Little Bognor House.

One of the village's outstanding attractions is Swan Inn, a beautifully preserved roadside residence of the 14th century. It has earned many 5 star reviews from TripAdvisor's delight customers, and its central location makes it a desirable hot spot for diners and overnight guests.
The inn is approximately 50 km from London Gatwick Airport and 10 minutes' walk from cultural venues such as the Petworth Cottage Museum. Bognaregis is 12 km from the hotel and South Downs National Park is approximately a 10-minute drive away.
From Fittleworth, most of the coastline of nearby towns such as Little Hampton, East Preston, Goringbysy, Ferring and Worthing are cute, but you can also reach a short car trip. In addition to rolling country hills, gorgeous vineyards and idyllic country pubs, it also features breathtaking nature strolls nearby. It's no wonder that the RH20 postcode area is looking for real estate hunters.
The charming village in the postcode area offers its own unique English heritage, featuring local pubs, historic churches and community events that welcome newcomers. Some standout spots claim to rival the respected villages of Fittleworth, namely West Chiltinton Common and Nutborn. It is the perfect area to aimlessly stroll through the countryside on a warm spring day and absorb the scenery.

The popular Circular Walk connects Nutbourne with West Chiltington, passing one of the best local pubs for Sunday Roast The Rising Sun. However, the nearby Red Lion Tavern on Ashington Road in Palborough is a strong competitor in the local rankings.
Even at the depths of winter, there is plenty of nature to immerse in the area, and the scenery is unparalleled when the sun comes out. That said, knowing you are not far from more populated towns and cities is always at ease if you are fantasizing something more vibrant.
Wine lovers will delight their proximity to famous vineyards such as Nutbourne and Nyetimber while they are in the RH20 postcode.
Nutbourne Vineyard, located in the Parish of West Chiltinton, is celebrated by moving from Germanic grape varieties to classic French varieties such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Similarly, Nyetimber has attracted international acclaim for the 2003 vintage crowned the 2003 Worldwide Sparkling Wines champion in 2009.
Visiting these vineyards will provide a fun experience while sipping world-class English sparkling wine in a picturesque setting. But plan your trip carefully to take advantage of the UK weather.
