The bridge connects the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and Africa, leveraging Zhengzhou and Riyadh as key interconnect hubs.

MOU outlines a comprehensive framework for collaboration, including the initiation and scaling of cargo flights between Zhengzhou and Riyadh. It also includes dual hub strategies, Zhengzhou and Riyadh arrangements, as well as Zhengzhou and Riyadh as strategic hubs for connecting Asia Pacific to each other.

The collaboration will also focus on cargo and logistics innovation, with enhanced digital cargo operations, cross-border e-commerce, and sustainability initiatives to promote efficiency and reduce environmental impact. The partnership will also support the cooperation of the airport economy, promoting the integration of bonded logistics, free trade zones and airside industries to promote trade growth and attract investment. Key aspects also include investigating regulatory integrity, technical and financial cooperation, and investment opportunities in Zhengzhou's high-tech and aviation sectors.

“We are pleased to announce that we are committed to providing a range of services to our customers,” said Loay Mashabi, CEO and Managing Director of Saudi Arabia Cargo. “This MOU takes a critical step in our commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia's cargo strategic expansion and Saudi Vision 2030. We believe this partnership will drive innovation, increase efficiency and provide exceptional value to our customers.”

Zhang Mingchao, chairman of China Henan Airlines Group (CHAGC), added: “Saudi Arabia offers broad cooperation possibilities for aviation and low-altitude economy. MOU opens comprehensive strategic cooperation. China's Enan Air Group will strengthen Zhenghou-Riyadh's “Air Silk Road.”, Aircraft leases, etc. ”
