South Africa Tourism, together with Tourism Minister Patricia de Lille, confirmed the 2026 date of flagship exhibitions, African Conferences and African Travel Indava. Meeting Africa will be held from February 23rd to 25th, 2026, with Business Observation Networking Day being held on February 23rd. Travel Indava in Africa will continue from May 11th to 14th, 2026, starting on Networking Day on May 11th.
Both events remain the cornerstones of Africa's business events and leisure tourism calendars. Meetings Africa continues to promote the agenda of mice (conferences, incentives, conferences, exhibitions) across the continent, while African Travel Indava exhibits African tourism offerings to global buyers. A formal bidding process is underway to select a host city of the future from 2026 to 2030 and position shows of sustainable growth, innovation and broader economic impact.
