DOHA – Royal Airmallock (RAM) is recognized as the best airline operating route between Spain and Africa at the 30th Travel Ranking Awards hosted by Agent Travel Magazine in Madrid on Thursday.
The awards ceremony held at the Melia Castilla Hotel in Madrid attracted nearly 200 tourism executives. This distinction was particularly important as it was based on reviews from travel agents that are published monthly on AgentTravel.
Habib SkiredJ, regional director of RAM in the Iberian Peninsula, recognized the airline's role in the Spanish-Morocco connection and accepted the award.
“This perception highlights Royal Airmalok's position as an important link between Spain and Morocco: two Mediterranean neighbors and strategic partners,” SkiredJ said.
The Moroccan National Airlines have established themselves as a preferred option for travelers between Spain and Africa through strategic route networks, modernising the fleet and improving services.
Operated from the main hub at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, RAM currently manages a fleet of 51 aircraft and offers 89 destinations.
The airline has announced ambitious expansion plans, including a bid launched on April 15, 2024, to quadruple the fleet to approximately 200 aircraft by 2030.
This growth strategy coincides with preparations to co-host Morocco's 2030 FIFA World Cup and its growing tourism division, and currently attracts 17.4 million visitors a year.
In February, RAM conducted its first flight using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) on the Marrakech-Paris route, marking a step towards a low-emission air travel.

The initiative, implemented in collaboration with Vivo Energy Morocco, reported 10 tons of Co2 emissions.
The Travelranking Awards Chresters ceremony was launched by Turespaña Director Miguel Sanz and Laura Martínez Cerro, Director of Tourism and Hospitality for the Madrid Community.
The event recognized excellence across 30 different categories in the tourism sector, and the winners were selected based on the opinions of 1,600 travel agents.
RAM, which joined the OneWorld Alliance in 2020, continues to strengthen its position as one of the leading airlines in Africa.
The carrier expansion plan includes improving domestic connectivity, establishing new tourist routes and strengthening Casablanca's position as a major aviation hub.
