As the countdown to Africa's Travel Indava 2025 intensifies, South Africa's tourism has established an industry-led advisory committee to ensure the seamless execution of this premier travel trade event. This dedicated panel, made up of leading industry representatives, meets weekly to address key aspects of the show, working together to enhance its impact and provide an even better experience for exhibitors and buyers.
The initiative will represent the larger tourism sector, drive profitable decisions and strengthen our commitment to partnerships and collaboration in ensuring that travel in Africa remains a world-class business platform that promotes true value for all participants.
It focuses on key factors such as exhibitor and buyer engagement. Logistics efficiency; programme strengthening; and overall event quality; the advisory committee consists of the following members:
•David Frost – Satsa
•Suzanne Bailey – Classic Portfolio
•Kgomotso Ramothea – Atta
•Andrew Camp – Sun International
•Dorcas Dlamini – Marriott
•Martin Botha – Tourvest
Their feedback, insights and strategic guidance will help shape world-class events and ensure that African travel indava continues to be a global trading platform.
Several members of the advisory committee expressed their excitement at the initiative.

It is an important and visionary step towards deeper collaboration, ensuring that the voices of key private sector stakeholders are taken into consideration. By cohesive and constructive concerns of the industry, you can make ATI a world-class event. Let's work with SAT COO, Darryl Erasmus and his team to pull a good panel together and make ATI ham.”
