Prime Minister Kasim Majaliwa has instructed the Tanzania National Park Service (Tanapa) to come up with creative programs that will help promote the attractions available in Mukomaji National Park.
He said the government has made significant investments, including road construction, tourist entrances and other community services within the park, adding that authorities must take advantage of opportunities to increase tourist numbers.
The Prime Minister yesterday issued the order, speaking to Park Rangers and the public, after opening the NDEA tourist entrance in Mukomaji National Park in Mwanga district of Kilimanjaro region.
“Advertise attractions such as Mukomaji National Park and unique animals that you won't find anywhere else. Make sure they're only found here and provide important information on the distance from Moshi and Tanga to the park,” Majaliwa said.
