Though only 4,500 people are smaller, the charming town of Wesuraham, Kent's charming town, is charming and bursting, offering a boulevard filled with restaurants and independent shops. It's awaited to be discovered as it is a series of alleyways with stunning beauty spots to explore Westam, known for its friendly locals and for its warm community spirit nearby.
Located in the idyllic Darrento Valley, Westamham is breathing fresh air from the hustle and bustle of urban life, with the calm river Darrento running through. When you head out to this fun town in West Kent, you'll find yourself surrounded by lush countryside, and it's worth a trip. The Venetian Coffee House, a treasure trove of culinary delights, including the courtyard, said to be “a lot more than a coffee shop,” and the Deli Di Luca from Market Square, where the Deli praises “delicious dishes.”

But it has become a green grasshopper, an old bank restaurant, a rendezvous brasserie, farm shops, Naples E', the King's Arms, and only a few people named 21. Beer lovers will enjoy locally produced products from the Westerham Brewery Company.
And for those who enjoy a good walk, the surrounding area offers Kent's lush green landscape.
If you want to add a daytime visit in Westerham, you can enjoy spectacular views of the nearby North Downs, while enjoying the taste and spectacular views that immediately begin your tour. Alternatively, you can take a walk between the grapes for a coffee, a bite, or enjoy the real estate British sparkling wine at a restaurant.

The tour is scheduled to begin on April 1st. For those planning an Easter Sunday visit, why not book a table and enjoy a traditional Sunday roast at their welcoming facility?
But the word of warning to future visitors may not extend to Westam's laidback rural culture. Despite promises a gentle “real taste of the country”, Kentlive revealed the unattractive parts of the town last year.
They reported that Westerham was ranked as a Kent speeding attack hotspot. Between January 1st and December 31st, 2023, 9,876 speeding crimes were recorded in Westerham. The nearby M25 may have distorted the numbers, as it was not clear from data from Safety Tech Company Oono.
Despite the rural town atmosphere of Westerham, it is a mile away from Seven Oaks from A21/M25 Junction.
Although Westerham does not have a train station, Oxted Station is located 3.5 miles west of town.

However, Westerham still retains its charm as a country retreat. After all, we don't find sites every day like Chartwell, Winston Churchill's former residence.
This offers a captivating and intimate glimpse into the life of the former Prime Minister, not only as a politician and politician, but also as the husband of Clementine, a father, writer, painter and garden planner. He has lived in this magnificent house for over 40 years, making it a must-see for the home and its hillside gardens.
And you certainly can't overlook the impressive statue of the green Winston Churchill.
A leisurely walk down the high streets reveals the timber and Georgia photo postcard houses overlooking the greenery. The Westum Walk offers country roads along the Darent River, through farmland, along forested areas lined with maple, yew and birch trees, transforming into stunning shades of gold and flame in autumn.

The History of Westerham
Surrounded by the Darent River in Holmesdale Valley, Westerham has a rich history. As we visited Westerham, “the early guys would have passed along the ancient North Downs track overlooking the site.”
The first known settlers in the area were the Celtics of the “Canti” at around 200 BC.
The fortress, surrounded by two large earth walls across 11 acres, is located within the present Skelly Estate.
Westerham's history dates back to the medieval period when Henry III was given a market charter in the 1200s.

Parking location
According to locals, parking can be “tricky.” However, Seven Oaks District Council has proposed using Darlent parking for those visiting the Westerham Town Centre.
The parking lot will have 97 spaces, including four designated spaces for blue badge holders.
Parking costs are Monday through Sunday from 8:30am to 6:30pm.
