The cute village you can reach on your own “curry train” has been named as one of the best places to live in the UK. A region filled with charming towns and villages, Northumberland's Corbridge attracted the attention of national property experts for its beauty, history and independent shops.
Located near the Hadrian Wall, 16 miles west of Newcastle and four miles east of Hexham, Corbridge was praised by property expert Garrington. “This aspect of the village has been improved over the years, and Corbridge has a unique feature that sets it apart from nearby towns and villages and its own curry trains.
For decades, Indian experience has been painting meals from Newcastle city centre.
They take them to a valet restaurant in Northumberland on horse-drawn carriages at the central station.
Essentially located on the platform of the village station, the culinary gem is famous for its first-class curry, reports Chronicle.
Traveling to the Curry Train is an experience described as a must-see for those living in the Northeast. Corbridge has many other great spots for food and some drinks.
Foodies are often served by facilities such as Sycamore, Casarosso and Il Piccolo.
Currently, Casa Rosso holds the second position in the Trip Advisor's list of best restaurants in the village, with Black Bull winning the top spot and explanations such as “fantastic” and “jewels” from highly satisfied patrons.
Corbridge Larder scored the third spot, with Sycamore and Il Piccolo completing the top five. Tani currently holds sixth position.
Named as one of England's finest villages, a real estate expert said:
