The UK long-haul cargo ship is looking to recruit a Boeing 777 cockpit crew on one aircraft operating a Boeing 747 cargo ship.
The East Midlands Airport-based company has indicated that the first 777 will be introduced in June.
As part of the pilot recruitment drive, we have advertised for direct input captains, senior officers, and first mates.
The captain will need 5,000h, including 1,000h, while the senior officer will need 1,500 hours, including 1,000h, on the 747 or 777S.
The company adds that it is interested in candidates with the narrow presence of Airbus wide body models and Boeing.
According to One Air, recruitment days are being held in the UK airport in May and Dubai in June.
It appeared as a 747-400 cargo ship operator in 2023, but in submissions to US transport authorities, it said it would move to identify the 777F as a candidate to acquire a more modern type.
One air has a fleet of three 747-400 cargo ships.
