Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), a global leader in innovative cruise travel, proudly delivered Norwegian Aqua on March 13, 2025, earning its 20th vessel in its award-winning fleet and the next-generation Prim Plus class, the first vessel at the respected Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Italy.
As Norwegian Aqua is preparing to enter service, the NCL will use floats from Luna, Norwegian to complete another landmark event. Float-out means completing the exterior work of the ship, marking the first time you make contact with the water. Norwegian Luna will move to a floating dock previously occupied by Norwegian Aqua for interior construction and furniture in preparation for the ship launch in spring 2026.

In his first year of service, Norway Aqua departs from Miami and Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida and New York City.
