New Spanish guidance from British tourists warn “four rules” | Travel News | Travel

Spanish travelers are required to follow four important rules during their holidays: The new consultation comes from the Spanish Ministry of Home Affairs. This encourages travelers to keep these four rules in mind before and during their trip. By taking these precautions, authorities say travelers can enjoy a safer and more relaxed experience.

Taking him to X, the ministry wrote: Then they asked people to:

Look at your suitcasesseparate money and cards pay attention to bags and pockets in the crowd

In another warning on the Gov.uk website, the UK Foreign Office said: “If asked by a police officer, you will need to provide a photo ID, including Guardia Civil and National, Regional, and Local Police. Police are entitled to retain you at the police station until you verify your identity.

“Ignoring the direct demands of a police officer can be considered a crime, “disobedience.” Hotels, tourist accommodations and car rental companies are legally obligated to register other tourist details to check in or collect their passports and vehicles. ”

They recommend that when checking in to the accommodation, you will need to wait until hotel staff records their passport details or create a copy. They say you should not place your passport at the front desk for later collection. You may also need to display your identification when using a credit or debit card for your purchase. Some stores accept copies of your driver's license or passport, but other stores may insist on looking at your original passport.

Villas and business people should also note that Spain follows the rules of the Schengen region. This means you need a passport.

There are “issue dates” that are less than 10 years from the date of arrival. If you renew your passport by October 1, 2018, there may be an “expiry date” and “expiry date” at least 10 years in advance that “expiry date” and “expiry date” will be at least 3 months after the date you leave the Schengen area (the expiry date does not need to be within 10 years from the date of issuance).

Check with your travel provider to ensure that your passport and other travel documents meet all the requirements you need to renew your passport as needed. The UK Foreign Office warns that if the document is invalid or you try to use a passport reported to be lost or stolen, you may be denied your entry.
