New German Aircraft OEM with full system capabilities will open representative offices at German Political Centre in Berlin – German Aircraft
Berlin, Germany, July 9, 2025 – German regional aircraft manufacturer German Aircraft celebrated the opening of its new office on July 8 at the historic Römischer Hof in Unter Den Linden, Berlin.
With this opening, German aircraft will strategically focus on expanding its presence in Germany and strengthening its role as a major German OEM (original equipment manufacturer) in the aviation sector. The Berlin office serves as a central contact for strategic partnerships, political cooperation and joint dialogue. As a new aircraft OEM with system capabilities in Germany, German aircraft is committed to helping the Federal Republic shape a sustainable and resilient aviation strategy.
“With the opening of a new office in the German political centre, we intend to play a more active role in shaping the Federal Republic's aviation strategy,” said Nico Neumann, CEO of Deutsche Aircraft. “Our work on German aircraft exceeds the traditional civilian use of the D328ECO. The D328MR (multi-roll) variant develops resilient and sustainable solutions for urgent needs, from reconnaissance capabilities to medical transport.”
The D328MR is specially designed for ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) missions. The ability to continuously collect and analyze reliable data in demanding or hostile environments is a key factor in making security-related decisions and achieving operational goals.
With a new office in Berlin, German aircraft are approaching federal decision makers and agencies. This allows for even closer collaboration on shared goals in the areas of climate protection, industrial value creation and sovereignty.
The opening of the office follows the successful deployment of the TAC 1, the first D328ECO test aircraft, on May 28, 2025. The event highlights German aircraft's technical leadership in the field of sustainable regional aircraft.
The Berlin office complements two main locations.
Oberpfaffenhofen Air Tech Campus: As a research and development center, Oberpfaffenhofen plays an important role in the technical implementation of the D328ECO program. The proximity to major aerospace suppliers and universities has been a driving force behind the innovation of the German aviation industry. Leipzig: Its logistics infrastructure and aerospace expertise has led Leipzig to become a key hub for industrial production and supply chains. German aircraft use this location to increase production capacity.
With its new presence in Berlin, German aircraft are best positioned to work with the federal government and associations on key future topics such as climate protection, digital transformation and industrial value creation.
