With the launch of two new conference venues, @Sandton Hotel is expanding its offering to meet the growing demand for premium business and private event spaces in the heart of Johannesburg.

The Argyle and Carlyle venues on the ground floor bring flexibility, style and functionality to the hotel's already extensive event portfolio. New venues, including Corporate Summit, Gala Dinner, Cocktail Evening, and Book Launch, will offer dedicated settings that work just as well for strategic sessions, like celebrations.

The Argyle spans 142 square meters, and the banquet can accommodate up to 120 guests film styles or 80. More intimate of the two, Carlisle is suitable for up to 50 groups. Both spaces feature high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioners, AV integrated with projectors and screens, and built-in PA system.

“These new spaces are designed around the needs of both event organizers and attendees. It's about simplicity, quality and versatility. There can be board meetings in the morning, product launches by the afternoon, and cocktail receptions in the evening.”

New additions complement the already rich ecosystem of meetings. @Sandton Hotel Ballroom remains an important draw card, with a capacity of up to 500 guest cinema style or 400 persons for cocktails. It can be divided into three separate rooms, each opening in a spacious lobby and terrace that serve as an informal breakout and refreshment area.

Beyond traditional venues, the @Sandton Hotel has many alternative event spaces. Clubhouse pool decks are a favorite for sunset drinks and networking events. Meanwhile, the Central Square adds scale and atmosphere to the larger gathering. The private penthouse and presidential suite offer an exclusive setting for premium events with a full kitchen, vast balcony and skyline views.

The support facility will have on-site coworking spaces with four meeting rooms, an 80-seat auditorium and joint waste, a hot desk and an office pod. Event representatives are free to use these spaces during their stay, giving business travelers a practical foundation for Sandton.

When it comes to food and drinks, the options are wide. The hotel's three restaurants (@Sandton Restaurant, The Clubhouse and Pool Bar) offer a wide range of menu styles, ranging from plated meals to Takacha, Braais and Buffets. Whether it's a formal sit-down or a casual canapé service, the banquet team will handle it all.

The @Sandton Hotel event team works closely with clients to tailor each event to the occasion. Everything from small meetings to large functions is managed with accuracy and care.
