The conference focused strongly on agricultural innovation and mechanization as the basis for bilateral cooperation between Nigeria and Chulkier.
At the heart of the debate was the urgent need to increase agricultural industry productivity in Nigeria through the adoption of Turkish agritech solutions.
Ambassador Poloi has expressed preparations for Torkie to support Nigeria with advanced agricultural machinery, food technology and mechanized systems, increasing efficiency and production throughout the agricultural value chain.
Ambassador Poloi has pledged his commitment to strengthening bilateral trade and investment relations between Nigeria and Torkie. He also praised NTBC's efforts to promote Nigeria-Turkie's relationship, highlighting its recognition of Nigeria's strategic economic importance and regional impact.
He has pledged full support for NTBC-led business missions and forums, including the virtual multi-sector business meetings in Nigeria and Turkie.
Ambassador Poloi has announced plans to establish the Chulkier Consulate in Lagos to boost trade and diplomatic engagement in southern Nigeria, promote legitimate business trips and reduce entry barriers to Nigerian entrepreneurs' birth.
A high-level delegation visit from Turkiye is scheduled for August 2025 to explore collaborations in tourism, cultural exchange and investment.
The parties emphasized the importance of value chain transformation through technology transfer, knowledge exchange and regional capacity building, focusing on mechanized agriculture, harvesting, packaging and storage, identified as the key components needed to achieve sustainable agricultural development and food security in Nigeria.
On his part, presenting NTBC's activities, highlighted the importance of visits in strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between Nigeria and Türkiye, and reiterated NTBC's commitment to advance bilateral trade relations through sustained engagement and cooperation.
NTBC activities listed include quarterly business exploration trade missions to Turkier, designed for small and medium-sized businesses, and first-time business travelers to first-time business travelers, partnerships with Nigeria, collaborative joint trade missions and collaboration with advocates such as Deike, Musiaiye exporters, African African Business Association, local exporters, and advocates from both countries, Turkier African Association, government relations, annual NTBC year-end business cocktails have been hosted at the Turkish Embassy since 2022.
Oye reaffirmed the dedication that NTBC and Naccima to promote impactful trade partnerships and to promote long-term economic cooperation between the two countries.
