Most Popular UK “Best” Beaches – But some say “overrated” | UK | Travel

The UK's “best” beaches are located in an iconic location that attracts a huge number of visitors every summer. But not everyone is a fan, and some people call it “overrated” and offer other alternatives that people would like to visit instead. The beach will be the top of the UK's best, based on thousands of TripAdvisor reviews. A huge number of people worship this iconic place, but others think it is quite exaggerated.

The beach in question is Brighton Beach, located on the southern coast of England. This is not a surprise to many, as the iconic beach with busy piers and many seaside attractions is a sunny day destination for many Brits, especially the southern Britons. Brighton films TripAdvisor's top spots on the UK's best beach list, based on over 4,000 reviews.

Brighton and Hove have an impressive 4-mile seaside, but all the main pleasures include an array of bars and restaurants, and of course many entertainment.

Meanwhile, the beach is Pebble Beach, where you can find a large crowd on a hot summer day. Brighton has received excellent reviews from visitors both from the UK and abroad. But crowds and prices aren't everyone's favorite, and some people go until they call Brighton “overvalued.”

A TripAdvisor reviewer wrote: “It's pretty overrated and sorry. Pier, you have to pay to go. Then the arcade is pretty crap as kids love the 50p teddy bear machines where all the other beach towns are 20p pop.” They added: “Go to Hastings, it's better.”

Another person who called it “overestimating and running away,” said Scarborough, Blackpool and Weston Supermare, all similar, but cleaner, cheaper and better places.

On Reddit, people had similar feelings. One wrote: “Southsea is much better than the Brighton Imo (in my opinion). (i) I've lived in Brighton for three years and the side of Brighton Beach is fantastic (the bar and location in the arch that goes straight to the beach is great), but overall I always thought Brighton Beach itself was a bit boring.

Another agreed: “Brighton is busy and busy, hills like f**k, not great if you're asthma.”

But others worshiped Brighton Beach and did something overwhelmingly positive about it. A TripAdvisor reviewer wrote: “We have visited many times over the years. Brighton Beach has always been a family favorite. It's relaxing, peaceful and full of entertainment in all the right places.”

The second one is written as follows: “The beach is the cause of the stones, but it's still gorgeous. It's perfect for a walk or stopping at one of the beachfront bars. It's always lively and a lot.”

The third is, “There's a lot to do, see and eat on this beach. Perfect for all kinds of activities, shopping, meandering and drinking.”

Brighton Beach has top spot on the list of TripAdvisor's best beaches in the UK, while Bournemouth Beach is second. In third place, we head to Camber Sands, located on the country's southern coast.

The rest of the top 10 consists of Weymouth Beach, Goalston-on-Sea Beach, File Beach, Fistral Beach, Rosili Beach, Uraconve Beach and Scarborough Beach.
