Eye-catching new mural welcomes guests to Flamingo Casino
Very visible to pass drivers in the N12, the smart new mural of flamingo covering an area of 19m² was created by Trailblaze Travels, a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to developing and maintaining the tourism, culture and arts sectors of the Northern Cape and South Africa, starting from Kimberley.
“We were looking for someone for a while and saw some of the jobs in the town of Trailblaze Travels,” said Johann De Lange, game manager at Flamingo Casino. “We reached out and their designs were extraordinary.”
Trailblaze Travels made its debut in the news earlier this year about its first project called the Kimberly Mural Series.
“Through arts, media and business support, we aim to raise and embark our community. Our platform serves as a hub for showing off our young talent, connecting with industry experts and accessing critical resources.”
“Whether it's through art exhibitions, business workshops, or collaborative projects, we believe in the power of creativity and entrepreneurship to trigger change and build a sustainable future.”
This spirit coincides with the flamingo spirit. “We are pleased to support this NGO and support our goals,” De Lange said.
The parties hope that this is the beginning of a beautiful connection. “Trailblaze aims to build a long-term partnership with Flamingo Casino and create more murals,” says Rolse. “We have a lot of ideas throughout the facility and we hope to go a long way with them.
In addition to the murals, Flamingo Casino has completed an additional project this year – replacing the new chandelier lamp cover, new table layout, and pylon sign neon with LEDs.
