But one holiday maker shares a “snarky” solution to keeping your phone, money and keys safe when relaxing on the beach or swimming in the ocean.
In response to the Reddit thread, “Would you like to keep your valuables safe while relaxing just on the beach?” she simply said: “Get your diapers, wrap them around, and no one wants to touch it.”
Agreed, another user stated: Going it a step further, one user added. “I just wipe the Nutella on the edge.”
But some people believe that this trick is being used so much that the burglars have caught up with it.
Sharing another way, one user stated: “When I'm alone on the beach, I hide my valuables in a waterproof pouch and bury them in the sand a little, leaving a little marker for myself. I hope these tips help!”
