Markus Hahner has been appointed Sales Director for Multi-Roll Aircraft
Wesling, Germany, July 7, 2025 – We are pleased to have appointed Marx Harner as sales director for multi-roll aircraft, bringing a distinctive background in defense, security and international business development.
Markus has been participating from Leonardo Germany and has served in advanced business development capabilities since 2017. His leadership was instrumental in securing key defense contracts, including a 100 million euro project, including multinational cooperation. He has consistently demonstrated his ability to navigate complex procurement landscapes and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the German Ministry of Defense and international partners.
His previous roles included consulting firms and leadership positions at the German mod in-house consulting firm and the first German drone company to serve the German army, contributing to innovation in unmanned aviation systems and optimizing the defense process.
Alongside his professional career, Marx works as Lieutenant Colonel (R) of the Luftwaffe. His continued service reflects his deep commitment to national defense, NATO and strategic leadership.

Marx will be based in the heart of Berlin, the German aircraft's new Berlin office, further strengthening the company's commitment to getting closer to key decision makers and partners in the capital.
Markus earned a degree in political science from Philipps-Universität in Marburg and completed advanced training in civil service, defense procurement and organizational management.
