Man orders pints in Benidorm and is unsure when he hears the price | Travel News | Travel

Benidorm has become the go-to hotspot for Britons seeking a lively vacation without breaking the bank, as one man discovered on a recent visit. For those who dance the night and nurse cocktails from dawn to dusk, this Spanish resort checks all boxes and makes it a popular place for Stagdos.

But how cheap can pints be in this party's paradise?

Graham White, known to his online followers as Benidorm Gourmet, was surprised to stumble upon a pint lower than the brewing. At this particular venue, tea returns £1.66, but for Graham's delight, a pint of beer was only 83p.

The 48-year-old, who regularly shares Benidorm's escape with fans of nearly 60k Tiktok, shared a video that captured his bargain discoveries.

In the footage, he pans around the pub, introduces his patrons and staff, then says, “How much is the pint of Estrella?”

To this, she replied: “One euro, one euro for a pint,” and he could not resist snapping the offer.

He then asked about the cost of tea and learned that it was twice the price of a pint for 2 euros.

The revelation involved several followers, and a few skeptics doubted the truth behind his claims.

“People called me a liar and said there was no place in Benidorm where I could get a pint of Euros, so I went in and got one,” he shared, proving that the suspects were wrong.

He welcomed it as “the cheapest bar in Benidorm,” expressing his surprise at the fact that “drinking tea is double (price).”

The current average cost of London pints is an eye-opening £6.50, according to data from Finder.com, and the national average isn't far behind £5.44.

So landing in Benidorm could be a bit tipsy, at less costs than the British capital.

Following the post, users flocked through the comment section and said, “Why do you bother something else?”

Another user weighed and claimed Benidorm was “cheap as a tip” when it piled up at other vacation hotspots.

Additional responses include “love the price and love me not drinking”, another person who just visited the raving went here yesterday. In addition to “Ace Food,” observations include “The Day's Digest” and enthusiastic support, “You can put a pint in!”
