Location Summary:
Mari-Space is looking for dynamic and innovative assistant professors specializing in avionics and flight control systems. Successful candidates contribute to education, research and service activities related to these systems. This role provides the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research and collaborate with key experts in the field.
Main responsibility:
Research: Investigate advanced avionics systems, flight control systems, navigation technology, autopilot systems, and electronic warfare capabilities. Explore innovations in sensors, actuators, flight instrumentation, data collection systems, and aircraft and spacecraft communication systems. Develop and enhance avionics components and systems, including integrating avionics and guidance, navigation, and control (GN&C) algorithms. It focuses on autonomous flight technology and advances in mission planning.
Education: Offers undergraduate and graduate courses in avionics, control systems and related subjects. Oversees research and projects for students in these fields.
Collaboration: engage in interdisciplinary research and collaborate with industry and academic partners. Contributes to research funding applications and grant proposals.
Qualifications:
PhD Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related fields. Proven expertise in avionics, control systems, and navigation technology. Strong publishing records and well-defined research agenda. Proven educational experience and the ability to develop and distribute course content. Strong collaborative skills and abilities to collaborate with diverse research teams.
