British authorities denied a visa to the UK (UK) hours before leaving South Africa for the Cambridge Conference.
The meeting is scheduled to take place this weekend in London.
Visa was rejected
In X's post, Malema argues that the authorities provided “substantial legitimacy” to deny the visa.
“It's clear that this is an attempt to silence the opposing political perspective. We are currently or at the airport, as everything is promised to be sorted by 3:30pm. Instead, we received a letter of regret just four hours before departure.

“Administratively edited prohibitions”
The EFF said its president, Malema, was invited by Africa Cambridge University to attend the 11th Cambridge Africa African meeting together on the theme of “future president of Africa.”
“It can only be explained as a ban on the EFF's executive editing ban, and the UK High Commissioner has actively delayed the processing and approval of CIC's visa applications and sent a letter of regret that it would not be able to reach the address at Cambridge University.”
The EFF said a letter of regret was sent on Wednesday when Malema was set to depart for the UK after confirming that the visa would be processed this afternoon.
“This is merely an expression of the bureaucratic process used to suppress political objections and ban the voice of the EFF from building global solidarity against Western imperialism,” Red Beret said.
“Declaration of war”
The EFF said he was “very aware” that the denial of the visa “reflects imperialist attitudes towards Malema.”
“The UK is engaged in an open declaration of war against those who dare not only to suppress academic freedom by essentially banning travel to the country by the EFF president, but also dares to stand up against Warmangers, such as the British monarchy.
“The EFF's presidential ban reflects the continued domination of the British political process by the British monarchy. He remains clearly pissed off by the EFF's attitude after the death of 'Queen' Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor,” the EFF said.
The EFF said it will continue to develop relationships with all people “apologetic and internationally grateful for the EFF message, including citizens living in the heart of the country, such as the UK, that perpetuate the underdevelopment of Africa.”
“International Criminals”
In February, South Africa-born tech billionaire Elon Musk called on Malema to be declared “an international criminal” on social media.
He made a statement in response to an old video in which Malema claimed that the DA was only supporting the white leader.
Musk accused Malema of intentionally seeking the massacre of white South African people.
However, Malema fought back by saying, “I'm happy to be an international criminal.”
“I'm so happy to be an international criminal. Do you know why? Nelson Mandela was an international criminal.
“If that means I'm joining the rank of Nelson Mandela by being declared an international criminal to fight for the rights of my people, then I'm a proud international criminal,” Malema said.
