Luftansa is tackling delays in aircraft delivery by moving the capacity of its Airbus A350-900 to the Frankfurt Hub.
German airlines say four A350s have been transferred ahead of the summer season.
Another pair will be participating in May and July.
The first aircraft offer long distance routes to Seoul and Shanghai, while the other aircraft will drive to Denver and Seattle.
Jens Ritter's chief executive says the airline will “fill the gap” caused by delayed aircraft transport.
Lufthansa does not specify that it is not pending aircraft type.
However, carriers expect to take 61 new aircraft by the end of 2027.
There are 30 A350s operating in Munich, with another 14 expected to arrive by 2029.
