Chinese operator Loong Air has signed a lease agreement with six Airbus A321neos Lessor CDB Aviation, boosting the existing Airbus narrow bodies fleet.
The first of the six A321neos will be delivered from the CDB Aviation order book in 2027.
Hangzhou-based Loong Air is planning to deploy the A321neos on the “high demand route.”
Airline Chairman Qihong Liu said: “This agreement marks another milestone in the strategic partnership between Loong Air and CDB Aviation for over 10 years. We hope to continue exploring new opportunities for collaboration with CDB Aviation and collaboratively promote innovative developments in the future.”
Data from Aviation Analytics Firm Cirium shows that Loong Air already has 12 A321neos running. The airline not only uses 33 A320Neos and 27 A320CEOs, but also has a unique A319.
Loong Air is primarily a domestic operator and has a small international network for major Asian cities, including Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul and Kuala Lumpur.
