Lilongwe has emerged as an important destination for conservation, culture and tourism, following the ambitious plans for 2024 and the ambitious plans for 2025. The Lilongwe Wildlife Trust has strengthened visitors' engagement through new forest trails, updated trail maps and upcoming audio tours. Tourism operators have also expanded, with Ulendo Travel Group opening a new office with Green Elephant Guest House and 1 2 Travel Africa reviving the Lilongwe City Tour. Going forward, Mitengo House's Vine Restaurant will welcome visitors, but scheduled trips to Kuti Wildlife Reserve will offer horse riding excursions. Lilongwe has a focus on sustainability, conservation and hospitality, and has established itself as a must-see destination for travelers looking for both culturally immersive and environmentally friendly tourist experiences in Malawi.
