Cameroon. Lagardère Travel Retail is set to open its first Aelia duty-free store in Cameroon.
The stores at Douala and Yaoundé-Nsimalen International Airport will officially open on April 10th. Lagardère Travel Retail Western Africa has won a contract to design and manage duty-free shops. Cameroon business.
The official opening ceremony will be held at Yound Nusimaren International Airport. As reported, the new store follows the recent Aelia Duty Free Opening Working with Keira Distribution Benin at Bernardingan Ting International Airport Cardinal in Kotonou.

The area duty-free shop, which totals a total of 500 square meters, was designed in collaboration with commercial interior specialists in Cameroon. Built and decorated by local artisans, the shop combines modern retail design with a strong sense of place and offers an immersive shopping experience that reflects Cameroonian culture and craftsmanship.
The project has already established over 100 direct employment opportunities and as many indirect employment opportunities, thanks to a partnership launched by CEO of Lagardère Travel Retail Western Africa Sountou Bousso. The initiative is in line with the company's stated goal of contributing to local value creation and economic resilience through comprehensive and sustainable business practices.
