Located in the city’s emerging business and lifestyle hub, the hotel is set to open in early 2026, expanding its luxury products from IHG Hotels & Resorts in the country. IHG Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s largest hotel groups, has signed a management agreement with API Hotels & Resorts and launched its first Kimpton Hotel in the UAE. Kimpton Dubai, which is set to open its doors in the first quarter of 2026, is making the brand’s debut in the Emirates and continuing its regional expansion of IHG. IHG currently has over 122 hotels and nearly 44,000 rooms in nine countries.
Kimpton is known internationally for its unique design, sincere hospitality and immersive lifestyle experiences, and has established a strong global presence throughout America, Europe and Asia. The brand’s entry into the UAE reflects the growing demand for boutique-style experience-driven stays in the region’s luxurious hospitality landscape.
Located along the iconic Business Bay Canal minutes from Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, Kimpton Dubai serves as the city’s vibrant new social hub. The area has already established itself as an attractive business and leisure destination, bringing together a diverse mix of residents, visitors and experts.
The new hotel will have 280 rooms, including a mix of standard and suites, three unique dining concepts, and seven flexible meeting spaces, including a ballroom. With an emphasis on wellness and leisure, guests can enjoy a rooftop swimming pool, a spa, fitness centre, curated retailers and ample parking. True to Kimpton’s reputation for innovative culinary offerings, the hotel will focus on an exceptional food and drink experience.
This marks the second collaboration between IHG and API Hotels & Resorts, following the opening of InterContinental Residence Dubai Business Bay in September 2024.
