The Senator, who represents the Ondo South Senatorial District of the Global Fleet Group, a diverse conglomerate based in Nigeria, has been appointed keynote speaker for the upcoming Cambridge Africa Business Conference (CABC).

The conference will be held at Cambridge Jude Business School on May 17, 2025 and will feature global business leaders and technocrats.

Since 2012, CABC has been a gathering place for Africa's boldest thinkers, industry disruptors and global power players, according to organizers.

“The Black Continent is defined not by the challenges they face, but by the ingenuity, resilience and ambitions of those who shape the future. This year's speakers are a real power. The leaders who built the continent (and are currently building) have drawn a group of people together. They are facing structural barriers that limit their potential,” the organizers said.

They said, “This year's theme, “Africa Tomorrow: Promoting innovation, growth and global influence” is all about: It's a way to push boundaries, expand solutions, and shape Africa's role at global stages.

Ibrahim studied law from Obafemi Awoowowo University, ILE IFE at Osun State University in Nigeria and graduated from his Bachelor of Law (LLB). He later received his Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Obafemi Awoowow University. He then attended Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, where he earned a Masters in Law (LLM) and a Masters in International Tax. His investments include, among other things, the following sectors: oil and gas distribution, hotels, resorts, airlines, banks, real estate, insurance, publishing and investments:
