There are many beautiful countries in Europe, each with its own culture and traditions that make each one special. This continent is home to some of the most visited countries in the world, as well as hidden gems that many have yet to visit.
But there are people who have been through it all. The world traveler from Arizona visited one European country and shared with his over 5 million YouTube subscribers which one he thinks is the best.
Drew Binksy, who creates social media content about travel experiences, created a video ranking every country in Europe from favorite to least favorite.
“I've been to all 50 countries, most of them three or more times,” he said at the beginning of the video.
Video creators are ranked based on familiarity, affordability, cuisine, nightlife, natural beauty, historical wonder, and “the ability to not have to go out of your way to have a natural, authentic experience.” This is the most important element, he said.
What are the best countries to visit in Europe, according to travel experts?
Drew revealed that the Czech Republic, known for its art scene, was at the top of his list. He shot the video from Prague's Old Town Square, which he described as “my favorite place on earth”.
He continued: “Look at this, it's so beautiful. Medieval architecture, incredible churches, the world's oldest functioning astronomical clock tower, there's nothing more beautiful than this. I spent many years here, and I still get goosebumps when I come here.”
Located in Central Europe, this country is a perfect blend of both Eastern and Western Europe, one of the aspects Drew mentioned when revealing why he loves this country.
It's also much cheaper than in Western Europe and, according to the video, has many beautiful parks, bars, and cafes.
What's more, it's a family-friendly destination as well as being “great for nightlife.”
Comparing Prague to other cities such as Paris and Barcelona, Drew said the Czech Republic's capital has “much less” pickpocketing, making it a much safer city than other cities on the continent. Evaluated.
This traveler has a lot of good things to say about the Czech Republic, but he doesn't have much interest in dishes of “heavy meat, potatoes and sour cabbage,” as he shared.
But he was quick to remind viewers: “You don't come here for the food, you come here to enjoy the fun, the beautiful atmosphere and the relaxed atmosphere of the Czech Republic.”
