The Irish government has announced that the authorities will resume processing visa applications for applicants who have been granted employment permits for important family unity and specific business and employment purposes.
Currently, the following applicants are eligible to process the visa:
You will be joining visa applicants for long-term stay families. This includes all long-term stay D visas to family applicants. Preclearance applicants for a de facto partner of Arish National. A de facto partner of a critical skill employment licensee or a non-EEA researcher on hosting contracts and a non-EEA family member seeking to participate in Ireland's UK citizens. An individual travelling for business or employment purposes given employment permit by the Ministry of Employment by the Ministry of Employment to meet the major business of a company.
Additional Information: The Irish Government continues to not process the majority of short-term stay applications unless they meet emergency and prioritization criteria. Other visa suspensions will be reviewed in the coming weeks.
Anyone traveling to Ireland completed a Covid-19 passenger locator form, denied the test in a Covid-19 test photographed within 72 hours of arrival, quarantined it at home or designated facilities depending on the history of the trip.
