Travel expert Chelsea Dickenson is constantly hunting for a way to travel as cost-effective and smooth as possible. On a mission to help the country prepare for summer plans, Boots and Chelsea Dickenson are known as cheaper holiday experts, curating quick throwing bundles that include all the essentials of festivals, beach trips and adventures, allowing customers to get the essential items they need.
Speaking to the Express, Chelsea said: “The truth is, if you have a little budget and you're trying to pack light, you have to bend the rules a bit. I'm not at a slight disadvantage in the grey area.” Over half of Brits (53%) admit that they forget to pack something on beach trips, with 41% saying the same thing on hiking or adventurous days. One in five British (21%) appeared at the festival without any significant importance.
A Boots survey found that sunscreen is consistently the top of the list of forgotten items across all kinds of trips. For beach fans, the most commonly left-wing products also include sunglasses, insect bite cream, aftersun, and insect repellents.
Chelsea fights forgetting by creating a packing list on their mobile phone and detailing everything they need for future trips. If the list is not created, no cuts will occur.
She emphasized the need for advance planning: Do you really need 20 pairs of pants? It's all about solving what is essential and what isn't.
The packing list is always her first calling port, detailing what she wears every day and what she needs to use. She copies and pastes the list into the Notes app on her phone for the next holiday.
She said:
Since toiletries are some of the most forgotten items when packing, Chelsea's favorite hack is to click and collect parcels in boots after security at the airport. “Click and collect, you can lock the price and search all the deals. You'll see that the items you need are there,” Chelsea said.
This not only saves you on last-minute panic purchases for Precious Time, but also saves you money by winning online deals. Chelsea explained that in order to save space when packing her “wellness stash,” she would only take the exact amount from the packet and cut something like a hay fever tablet into a small pouch.
A must-have product of her summer? Soltan Kids Beach Powder (from the Boots Beach Holiday Bundle).
For those who hate sand in every corner, Soltan Kids Beach Powder removes sand from the skin. There is no need to rinse.
“Anyone who created this needs a Science Award, perhaps a Nobel Prize,” she joked.
“Stop taking extension cables on holidays. So many people… I put out a video about this. I thought everyone was by my side.
Travel experts are standing firm about this no matter what battle she faces. Is there a solution for her? Multi-port travel adapter.
Airlines have notoriously become the case in recent months for stopping passengers at the gates and forcing them to test the size of their cabin bags in Chelsea, a gimmick called the “Cage of Destiny.” She explained that the rise of events that occur depends on airlines, like EasyJet and Ryanair, and explained that several years ago EasyJet changed its baggage policy to not include cabin bags in ticket prices.
Unning travelers have tried several different ways to hide their excess luggage, such as pillowcase hacks that went viral. But Chelsea thinks they want people who do it to be caught.
She said: “Pillowcases are just too big, especially if you go to Europe, so I think pillowcases are just too much.
But there's another sleazy hack that Chelsea swears. “But I did a pillow on my travel neck, took out the padding and put my pants in.
Chelsea pointed out another way to avoid breaking weight limits, explaining:
“Set it somewhere on your body and stack it up.”
My favorite Chelsea purchase is a fishing jacket with 20 pockets. The secret won't stop there. If you want to avoid security by looking at the size of your luggage, Chelsea recommends replacing your suitcase with a backpack. “In fact, most suitcases don't fit the allowances of small cabin bags,” she said.
“If you're at a bit of a risk, grab it on your back. Don't turn in front of them. Get your passport ready.
“Make your life as easily as possible for them and don't show how spacious the bag is. Keep your bag away from them.”
The quick-throwing bundle is available at boots.com, which includes all the essentials of festivals, beach trips and adventures. The three bundles are 20 pounds each, consisting of 5-7 products, saving over 10 pounds.
