    AWA's 37th Annual Meeting: Expanding the Footprint in Latin America

    Break barriers and build legacy:

    Iawa is excited to bring the 37th annual conference to Sao Paulo, Brazil, and mark the significant expansion of Iawa's Latin American footprint. This reflects the region's immeasurable aerospace growth, potential, vibrant female leaders. Hosting in Sao Paulo aims to amplify connections, knowledge exchange and female voices in the Latin American aerospace sector. This year's conference is a vital platform for attracting local leaders and experts, ensuring that Iawa's global network reflects the diverse landscape of the industry.

    Our theme, “Destruction of Barriers, Building Heritage: Leading Aerospace to a New Frontier,” addresses unique Latin American opportunities and challenges. Participants gained insight into regional market trends, sustainable solutions and leadership strategies related to local women. Beyond the agenda, Sao Paulo offers opportunities to connect with local experts worldwide and promote partnerships for innovation and career growth. Iawa is dedicated to fostering a robust and inclusive Latin American community, a testament to its continued investment in the local aerospace future.

    If you are planning to attend, make sure you understand Brazilian visa and passport requirements, as well as the expected processing times. This will ensure you are fully protected in advance.

    Passport holders in Australia, Canada and the US must apply for an e-visa through the official portal https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/. We highly recommend attendees apply early. The process is quick and easy, and requires:

    A signed passport valid before the end of your stay in Brazil using at least two blank visa pages.

    We will begin your visa application as soon as possible to review visa requirements and avoid delays. Please check the validity of your passport. It must be valid at least six months after the intended date of entry to Brazil.
