I went to Türkiye on my holiday – I can see why there are people who don't go anywhere else | Travel News | Travel

Tourists have revealed why they don't go anywhere else after their first visit to Türkiye. Mama and Belfast live reporter Sheena Maxtravik recently detailed her family's trip to Asian countries, saying it was her first time after choosing an option that is usually familiar to Spain and France. But there was a standout reason when her turkey holiday blew her away. Maxtravik flew from Belfast International Airport to Dalaman, an area she had never heard of before.

The entire holiday was booked via TUI. This means that families were classified as flights, accommodation and airport transfers. The family was 45 minutes' walk from the airport at Twis Bruce Sealiakura in Feice. The coastal resort features a spa, swimming pool and restaurant serving food from around the world. Plus, you can take a 15-minute taxi ride to the centre of Fethiye. There are things to see and restaurants to try.

“The Tui Blue Hotel had everything we wanted,” she said. “It was perfect because we had a 7 year old and three kids with us.

“At check-in, we were presented with a checklist of “small travelers” items the hotel could provide if needed. It had everything from strollers to diapers, wipes, baby baths, baby monitors, porties, and more.

The family gets a room on the second floor and has a “stunning” view of the beach. When it comes to enjoying the facility, we had a total of five pools available to choose from, including a children's splash pool, a water slide and a pool area for adults only.

Additionally, there was a DJ every night at the kids' club for children ages 3 to 12, evening entertainment provided by the Tui Blue cast team, live music at the piano bar and a Caretta cocktail bar.

McStravick also praised the wide range of food available at the hotel, especially the independent children's buffet. “If that's not enough, there are five additional restaurants, including Chinese, Turkish and Italian. You certainly don't have a choice!” she said.

Fethiye is located on the turquoise coast in the southwestern part of Turkey and is famous for its natural harbor, crystal clear waters and rock formations, offering amazing views in sunny locations. Plus, there are plenty of islands near the coast that are perfect for day trips.

McStravick lists several reasons to enjoy the resort and says that she is likely to return. She concludes. “We didn't have to leave this amazing resort because we have everything we need: the spa, gym, tennis courts, football pitches and more.

“Despite my initial reservation regarding vacations in Turkey, this trip completely dispelled the fears and concerns I had. Many individuals I chatted with during my stay reflected the same feelings. If I had experienced Turkey, I wouldn't want to take a vacation somewhere else.

Other tourist hotspots in Spain appear to be actively discouragement of tourists, but Turkey accepts them with a warm temperament with open arms. I will definitely be back! ”
