“I visited a Spanish supermarket and one thing left me gobsmacked” | Europe | Travel

I don't really get to share packets of the property when I go on my holidays, drink icy cans of Phantalemon, and read in the sun all day.

But if you have a late night flight and you are arriving at a small time in the morning, you may be more panicked about whether you can grab a fast snack and some water to get over you until the morning.

However, don't panic if you're going to Spain. One woman points out that some of the supermarkets are still open at 1am. This is rare in the UK.

Florence Grace captioned her video: “Are you still open in the morning?! Spanish supermarkets are the best,” she shared some of the items she took her fantasies while she was there.

She commented on “this sunny D color,” joking, “Unless you get this, you're not in Spain.”

Florence showed off some things you can't get in the UK, such as “biscuit chocolate” similar to Maltesers, and the Oreo milk shakes she branded as “very sick.”

She pointed out that you can get a “mini paella” for less than 3 euros.

“Or you can get a carton of wine for 99 cents,” she laughed.

“This is the best part of a Spanish restaurant,” Florence gushed. She was standing next to the fresh orange juice machine, so she could juice it right in front of her, so she found it to be as fresh as possible.

She kept looking around with some frozen lemonade, pointing out that you could get a “whole **cake”, and she pointed out that the Spanish donuts were “very nice”. Who needs an inclusive resort when you can get all these items by wearing a hat from a supermarket near you?

“You can get a big bag of muffins,” she gushed out as she perused the mirca chocolate and chorizo, which can be purchased for just 2 euros.

“In Spain, you can get a carrot tub and a guacamole tub,” explained Florence, showing off all the perfect salad options if you're having a barbecue with friends and family.

She then looked at the potato chips and pointed out the “ketchup flavor” and then she moved to a huge bag of churros.

“We've forgotten how cheap alcohol is here,” Florence shared, indicating that individual cans of San Miguel cost 73 cents. Compare it with 4 euros and 50 cents bubble tea, and it seems wild to the British.

“This protein coffee is 20g of protein and zero sugar. What did you do back then?” she wondered. She concluded the video by saying, “They make the best sweets in Spain.” Plus, you can shop at the supermarket early in the morning, so the strange holiday cravings are not tolerated.
