Choosing a holiday destination can be difficult. Because we want to see the most beautiful places in the world.

One woman shares a “underrated” location at her top. But she jokes that they are around all places and says that it is “not a coincidence.”

“After traveling to 35 European countries, there are probably underrated places you've never heard of,” Tee Travels wrote at the top of her video before revealing where you think you'll have to visit.

    1. Dhaka, Turkey

Dhaka is a charming and quiet destination offering the perfect combination of natural beauty, rich history and authentic local charm, making it the ideal holiday spot for anyone looking for a peaceful and immersive vacation.

The town's atmosphere is relaxed and unavailable by popular tourism, allowing visitors to experience the region's authentic culture and traditions.

Located on a stunning peninsula in southwestern Turkey, surrounded by clear turquoise waters of the Aegean and Mediterranean seas, it offers breathtaking beaches and hidden coves.

With olive groves, pine forests and sturdy hills, the untouched natural beauty of Dhaka provides a gentle backdrop for relaxation, but its mild climate ensures comfortable weather almost all year round.

    2. Albania, Shara River

Often called the “hidden pearls of Albania,” the Shara River is a breathtaking holiday destination for those seeking natural beauty and tranquility. Located in northern Albania, this pristine river flows through the heart of the Albanian Alps and captivates visitors with its stunning turquoise waters, dramatic mountain scenery and lush greenery.

The river is accessible by boat and offers travelers a peaceful and unique way to experience untouched beauty. Adventure enthusiasts can enjoy activities such as kayaking, swimming and hiking along the scenic trails adjacent to Riverbanks.

Additionally, the Shara River offers a complete escape from the bustling pace of modern life, offering a peaceful and idyllic retreat for relaxation. Combined with warm Albanian hospitality, its remote, untouched charm makes it a dream destination for nature lovers and those seeking a memorable, picturesque vacation.

    3. Lake Oorid, North Macedonia

Lake Ohrid is an incredible holiday destination as it offers a unique blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage and recreational activities. Spanning the borders of North Macedonia and Albania, it is one of Europe's oldest and deepest lakes, boasting clear waters and stunning mountainous areas.

The area's charming towns like Orid in North Macedonia are ingrained in history, characterized by ancient churches, monasteries and medieval castles. Visitors can enjoy leisurely boat rides, swimming and sunbathing along the lake's quiet coast, while nature lovers can explore the hiking trails and diverse flora and fauna.

It's even more fascinating with the warm hospitality of the locals, delicious traditional cuisine and vibrant festivals. Whether you're looking for relaxation, adventure or cultural exploration, Lake Ohrid offers a calm and unforgettable escape in a picturesque, historically rich environment.

    4. Herseg Novi in Montenegro

Herceg Novi is a charming coastal town in Montenegro that offers the perfect blend of history, natural beauty and relaxation. Located at the entrance to the stunning bay of Kotor, it boasts breathtaking views of the glowing Adriatic sea and lush mountains. Its rich cultural heritage is reflected in its winding streets, ancient fortresses, and historical architecture such as the Kanri Kura and Forte Mare.

With its cobblestone streets, quaint squares and lively atmosphere, the old town is perfect for a leisurely exploration. Meanwhile, the town's seaside promenade serves relaxing strolls along the coast, as well as delicious local cuisine and fresh seafood in a variety of cafes and restaurants. In addition to its historic and cultural attractions, Herceg Novi is known for its welcoming climate, with over 200 sunny days a year.

    5. Prizren, Kosobo

Prizren is a charming and historic city in Kosovo, and perfectly blends cultural richness, authentic experiences and stunning natural beauty to make it a fantastic holiday destination. The city is tinged with history, and its picturesque old town has been influenced through cobblestone streets, traditional homes, mosques and churches, reflecting the influence of the Ottoman Empire over the centuries. The highlight of any visit is the stunning views from the iconic stone bridge and the Prizren Fortress, where you can get a glimpse of the surrounding scenery and cityscape.

The diverse cultural heritage of Prizren is evident in the harmonious combination of religious places, such as the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Sinan Pasha Mosque and our Lady Lijevis Church.

    6. Mostar, Bosnia, Herzegovina

Mostar is a fascinating holiday destination known for its rich history, stunning architecture and picturesque scenery. Located in Bosnia and Herzegovina, this charming city offers visitors a blend of diverse cultural influences shaped for centuries by the Ottoman, Austrian-Hungarian and Slavic heritage.

At the heart of Mostar is the iconic Stari Most (Old Bridge), a UNESCO World Heritage site that symbolizes the city's resilience and serves as a stunning architectural masterpiece that spans the crystal clear Neretva River. It's an unforgettable experience to watch bold locals jump from Heights across the bridge.

“Ah… it seems like all these places are in the Vulcans… It's a coincidence? I don't think so,” she joked in the caption.
