Africa is becoming a more popular destination for travelers around the world, with millions of people heading towards the continent. It offers everything from stunning landscapes and exotic wildlife to vibrant cities filled with life and adventure.
Destination decisions are by no means easy, given that all 54 countries have their own unique appeal. But there's one county that stands head and shoulders above the other counties, according to American travel blogger Drew Binsky.
Tanzania is a place to visit with its gorgeous scenery, abundant wildlife and charming local customs and culture.
The East African country is famous for its Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Its plains cover 1.5 million hectares of savanna and is home to the “Big Five” game, with elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, rhinoceros – and many more animals.
Tourists can track the epic annual movement of the wild future of 2 million people starting in April following the rain.
On a video blog published on his YouTube channel, Drew Travels observed a spectacular annual event.
“We're driving the Serengeti right now and have incredible sightings of Zebra and Wild Beast,” he says with breath.
“We are currently migrating, and we have literally tens of thousands of people in our eyes, and it's so beautiful to see.”
Hikers can climb the tallest mountains in Africa in Tanzania.
Dormant volcano, the world's most independent sea-level mountain, rising to a whopping 5,895 meters.
Offshore is located on the tropical island of Zanzibar, a mafia, with Arabic influences and stunning beaches, with marine parks with whale sharks and coral reefs.
Tanzania is the fastest growing African destination, attracting around 5.3 million visitors last year. It has increased by 132% since 2021.
For Drew, there is no other place in Africa. “If we can only visit one African country, let's go to Tanzania,” he is enthusiastic.
“People are friendly, safe, the streets are clean. There are no scams here. Everyone is very good. They speak English. You will absolutely love it.”
