Hostox, Africa's ultimate trade fair for food, drinks and hospitality, will return to the Sandon Convention Centre from March 8th to 10th, 2026. Two jam pack exhibition halls, new feature areas and the presence of the largest exhibitors even before the pandemic.
Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Hostex 2026 promises to be a groundbreaking event that reflects the resilience and renewal of the hospitality and foodservice industry, introducing a powerful new platform for innovation, education and trading. The theme of this milestone version of Opening Doors captures the legacy of unlocking Hostex opportunities and building connections across the industry.
Two Holes of Opportunities – and a larger and bold lineup of exhibitors
With its footprint across both SCC Hall 1 and Hall 2, Hostex 2026 welcomes some of the largest players in the industry, including BCE, FoodServ, Morrico, Vulcan, Impotalia and Scotsman.

New features area useful for changing industries
As the industry evolves, so does Hostex. This year's show will show you several new dedicated feature areas designed to create access to new markets and improve the exhibitor and visitor experience.
Hall 1's Beverage Hub and Drink Masterclass introduces art and science drink services, including wine, spirit and mixology. Developed in close partnerships with SCASA and the local coffee ecosystem, the coffee market features holistic solutions for the coffee industry, from roasters to equipment suppliers, POS system filtration systems and after-space service providers. Country Pavilions in Italy, Turkey, China, India, Australia and Poland highlight specialist products and solutions in the food service, retail and hospitality markets, from artisanal food to kitchen innovation and exported wines. The new SME hub serves as a dynamic collaborative platform designed to empower small businesses and emerging brands by promoting access to a wider range of markets. Strategically located adjacent to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Competition (DTIC), this area of the exposition is positioned as a catalyst for innovation and growth. It offers businesses committed to supporting enterprise development with unique opportunities to engage directly with high potential SMEs in an environment tailored to incubation, exposure and strategic partnerships. Specialized in the fast-growing forecoats and convenience markets, catering offers a showcase of technology and products for the latest retail environments, from e-commerce tools and fitment solutions to display equipment.

Skills from SA chefs provide an interactive space for cooking inspiration and sharing techniques. SA Chefs Association has been a founding partner of Hostex since its launch in 1986. The show's long-standing highlight, the Scasa Barista Championships will once again see top baristas from across South Africa compete on the world stage.
