Holoni Falls, resembling the famous Bridal Veil Falls, is gaining popularity among domestic visitors, especially churches and young groups, attracted by spiritual retreats and secluded environments for natural excursions.
Despite its growing appeal, the site remains undeveloped and lacks basic infrastructure such as roads, toilets, shelters and more. The appeal for investment is on the rise, and local voices are urging government support to unlock tourism values. This finding is consistent with Zimbabwe's broader efforts to promote heritage and community-based tourism. This is believed to have contributed to a 4% increase in tourism revenue between 2023 and 2024 due to an increase in domestic travel and rural exploration.
