Located in the north of the Baleur Private Games Reserve, this intimate Greater Kruger camp marks an exciting expansion for a retreat to one of South Africa's most popular safari destinations.
Amava, which means “experience” by Isixhosa, captures the essence of what Hideaways symbolizes. Overlooking the perennial Olifants River, Amaba River Lodge offers an authentic Kruger safari experience with daily game drives, river views frequently visited by elephants, hippos and buffaloes, as well as opportunities to reunite with nature in one of Africa's richest ecosystems.

The lodge is easily accessible from Hoedspruit Airport via just 45 minutes (and other access available from JHB as recommended route), making it the perfect start or ending point for South African adventures.
