Gulf Air announced a renewal of its direct flight to Nairobi, Kenya, marking its return to its East African destination more than a decade later. Starting June 2, 2025, Bahrain National Airlines will operate five weekly flights to Jomokenyatta International Airport using the Airbus A320neo Fleet. The move will strengthen Gulf Air's African network and increase connectivity between Bahrain and Kenya for both business and leisure travelers.
The new service will operate on Monday, Wednesday and Sunday with two additional flights on Friday. Gulf Air Group CEO Jeffrey Goh highlighted the airline's commitment to expanding its global reach while promoting economic and tourism relations between Bahrain and Kenya. The route is expected to benefit passengers seeking a seamless advancement connection to their Middle Eastern destinations through Bahrain.
