From May 29th to 31st, Grand Hotel Djibloho held a corporate retreat for the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI). The assembly effectively combines institutional work, cultural integration, recreational activities and exploration within the country.
The OAPI is an intergovernmental organization made up of several African countries dedicated to protecting and promoting intellectual property rights within the region, thereby promoting economic development through innovation and creativity. DJIBLOHO's retreats are part of the organization's ongoing efforts to strengthen internal processes and strengthen management teams.
Participants were warmly welcomed on May 29 by the OAPI representatives of Equatorial Guinea, who promoted various program activities. During their stay, participants were engaged in strategic planning sessions, teamwork exercises, and discussions of in-house exchanges, all set against the backdrop of Grand Hotel Djibloho's exceptional hospitality and stunning natural environment.
The itinerary included tours to nearby cities, especially Mongomo and Bata. There, participants visited prominent landmarks, including the Cathedral of the Mongomo concept, one of Africa's largest Catholic churches. A short prayer mass was held there, accompanied by commemorative photographs. The excursion also featured recreational activities in each city and organized lunches, enriching the group's cultural experience.
The outing took place on the morning of May 31st, and was highly rated by participants who paid particular attention to the quality of the activity and the warmth of the environment.
Overall, the retreat at DJIBLOHO was able to successfully meet logistics and operational requirements and carry out activities under optimal conditions. This setting promoted the implementation of the work agenda and provided a fostering atmosphere for institutional exchange and joint planning.
