Speakers included UAE GCAA Director Saif Mohamed Al-Swaidi, Henry Hui, Chairman of Voller Air Mobility Holdings and Chairman Saif Aldharmaki – Chairman of Voller Air Mobility Industry.
The event focused on the development of a variety of green aviation technologies, including sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), electric and hydrogen propulsion technology, AI pilot training, green materials and green infrastructure development.
Sustainability expert Dr. Sharon Lu presented the progress of the SAF industry and alignment of ICAO's global decarburization goals and industrial initiatives, highlighting opportunities for cross-border collaboration. Guo Yilin of General Leaon Avia of the Academy shared the development roadmap for the RX Series electric aircraft, the world's widest electric aircraft.
An important highlight is the advancements in The Green Avia on Technology (GAT) Hub, an integrated incubation and commercialization platform ecosystem for sustainable aviation, establishing a signed MOU between GCAA and Volar in Montreal during the ICAO Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) symposium.
