More than 500 aviation industry leaders, regulators and safety experts will be attending the 3rd Asia-Pacific Summit (AP-SAS) at the Suntech Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre from July 15-17. AP-SAS 2025 is being held jointly by the Flight Safety Foundation and the Singapore Civil Aviation Authority.

“Future Aviation Safety: Adaptation, Innovation, Excel” is the theme of this year's event. This will feature keynote speeches from ICAO Executive Director Juan Carlos Salazar and EASA Executive Director Florian Guillermet.

Additionally, former EASA executive director Patrick KY, CEO of Singapore-based International Aviation Innovation Centre, will be the hot topic. KY's presentation will focus on improving resilience by reviewing safety protocols, implementing new technologies and developing integrated airspace frameworks.

Other highlights of the agenda include a CEO panel discussion examining how to build and maintain a skilled aviation workforce in the face of growing booming industry. The expected panelists include IATA Director Willie Walsh, CHIN Yau Seng, CEO of Singapore Aviation Engineering, Canso Director Simon Hockard, Jeffrey Lamb, Director of Commercial Aviation and Space Director of St. Engineering, and Ingrid Azcena Zeleya Florian, President of Latin American Civil Aviation Commission.
