The first Italian-made luxury train, the Ladolce Vita Orient Express, came out from Rome's Ostiens Station, a two-day trip to Tuscan vineyards earlier this month. Most of the itinerary departs from Rome and includes stops in Milan, Florence and Venice, as well as Sicily via the world's only passenger ferry. The train has 12 horse-drawn carriages and 31 cabins, including 18 suites. All cabins offer room service, while the restaurant car offers lunch, dinner and afternoon tea. Barker is full of live music, an aperitivo and anti-pasty buffet, after dinner cocktails and of course Italian wines.
