Many of us are preparing to fire for a much-needed summer vacation, so we remember four common items that Brits can't take hand-picked when flying. These items can be confiscated at the airport and may delay your trip.
Many of us are well aware that there are limitations when it comes to what you can take with you on a flight. This depends on whether you have luggage or hand luggage, the airline you are traveling with, and where you are traveling.
However, there are several items that the government advises against packing baggage.
The Gov.uk website states, “There are restrictions on the items that can hold your baggage and luggage when boarding a plane in the UK. There are different rules if you sell or temporarily sell it overseas for sale, temporarily sell it overseas, or temporarily go abroad for performance.
“Airport security staff will not allow anything through things they consider dangerous, even if they are normally allowed in baggage.”
Do not take your baggage in at this time.

Gov.uk said: “At most airports, liquids cannot be taken in containers greater than 100ml through security. This applies even if only a portion of the container is full. At some airports, liquids can be taken in containers that hold up to two liters of liquid.”
If possible, pack your hold luggage with liquid – luggage that has been checked in and collected at the airport where it arrives after landing. Rules for taking liquids through hand luggage security have been changed by airports in the UK, so you should check with the airport before you travel.
However, countries outside the UK may have different rules regarding carrying liquids as passengers for transport or relocation. “Before you travel, you need to check these rules with the relevant airline or airport,” says Gov.uk.
However, there are exceptions. All airports in the UK can use liquid containers up to 2 liters through security.

You can board and carry only one lighter. Put it in a reimagined plastic bag, like those used in liquids. It needs to keep you in the whole flight.

Please put it in your hold luggage. Please put it in your baggage after screening.
Food in checked luggage is not prohibited, but groceries and powders in your luggage can interfere with the image of the X-ray machine.
Gov.uk said: “Systems may require you to manually recheck your bags. You can put these items in your hold luggage to minimize delays.”
Gov.uk adds: “You can't usually bring frozen items into your baggage, such as liquids, food, or ice packs.”
There are a few exceptions. Therefore, before traveling, you should check the medication, medical devices, dietary requirements, and rules for baby food and baby milk.
