Surrounded by the iconic Palm Jumeirah, Five Palm Jumeirah redefines luxury through cutting-edge design and extraordinary comfort.

Recognised as Dubai's best large luxury hotel by the prestigious 2023-2024 International Hotel Awards, it's no surprise that the resort continues to set the pace of Dubai's ever-evolving hospitality scene.

Upon arrival I was immediately surprised by the wooden structured frame that rose like a double helix within a glass cube, catching the Dubai sun at every angle.

The architecture was very impressive. I paused halfway through. It was captured not only by design but also by Instagramable opportunities in the lobby.

The air smelled fresh lavender and it was clear that this was a florist on the premises, and this was a place that was made for celebrations.

What makes Five Palm Jumeirah even more appealing is the convenience of the location. Everything is nearby. Taxis is easy to get and is just minutes away from major attractions like Dubai Mall.

There are also shops right outside the store that sells the latest Nike Air Jordans. This was a quirky and unexpected touch, which made me wonder about the type of guests staying here.

I had visited Dubai before and thought I knew my way. I chose the subway for a quick trip, but what should have been a 20-minute journey should have turned into a two-hour ordeal. In hindsight, I would have preferred to order a Keim.

It turned out to be an interesting story to tell later, but after that I couldn't wait to return to the comfort of 5 Palm Jumeirah.

Don't miss it…I visited the charming coves of Devon.

Welcome hospitality: More than just a stay

The staff welcomed me with warmth and attention and made me feel cared for the moment I intervened. The space itself exceeded expectations.

I was greeted with two drink options: a cinema-shaped slushy taste and a refreshing non-alcoholic drink like a lychee martini.

I tried both and tried to throw myself into the future experience and found that the authentic familiarity of the staff made me feel more than just a guest.

In my room, the gold and marble furniture was as luxurious as you would expect. What stood out, however, was the overall running honeycomb hexagonal pattern, combining modernity with classic luxury.

The mirror above the bath surprised me and adored me. I had seen the hotel in the video before and to my surprise, my family was staying there too.

From my balcony I had overlooked the famous 50m social pool where the DJ played songs I already loved.

The party started from there and I was at the centre of it. This was a “five atmosphere” of perfect movement, attractive, high energy, and impossible to get caught up in.

Initially I thought this hotel was primarily for influencers and high status guests, but I quickly realized that it was a place where everyone could enjoy themselves.

    Penthouse Dubai

On the 16th floor, Penthouse Dubai is an easy combination of style and energy. With stunning views of Dubai Marina and Ain Dubai, it is a great place to relax with cocktails during the day.

As night approaches, the lounge transforms into a lively nightclub, offering a true taste of Dubai's nightlife. After gaining recognition for DJ Mag as a #1 nightclub and rooftop lounge in the Middle East, it has endured the hype.

The Japanese-style menu and innovative cocktails enhanced the experience and made it an outstanding food and drink. Whether you're rewind after a long day or set up for a night out, the atmosphere is always lively.

The pre-drink at the 5-star venue sets the setting for an unforgettable evening.

The venue is regularly hosted by world-class DJs and international artists as part of the Penthouse Presents series, creating an unforgettable musical experience.

It's no wonder this place continues to be a hot spot for both locals and tourists seeking a vibrant nightlife scene.

But what makes the Penthouse even more noteworthy is its commitment to sustainability, running on 100% solar power. In cities like Dubai, where the sun is always present, I find this eco-friendly approach particularly suited.

    Bohemia Beach Club

Five Palm Jumeirah's Bohemia Beach Club takes beachfront luxury to the next level with a bold, bohemian twist. I relaxed in my private cabana, sipping coconut water from the fresh coconut, eating calamari bites and smoking the sun.

With stunning views of the Dubai Marina skyline, this atmosphere has become the perfect afternoon retreat.

The beach club itself is effortlessly stylish, with sophisticated sunbeds and luxurious sofas creating an attractive atmosphere. The Infinity Glass pool blends seamlessly with the horizon, giving the entire space an almost surreal feel.

It's no wonder Bohemia is known as Dubai's ultimate beach party destination. Stylish and refined places, some places are fun.

As the day changed into the evening, the energy changed and Bohemia became an active hub. With events like Bohemia Presents, world-class performances attract music lovers from all over the world.

I find myself in the VIP section and enjoy the atmosphere as the host has confirmed that my glasses are never empty. The atmosphere throughout the night was electricity and seeing people was an experience in itself.

    Refreshing and more ready

It wasn't just the music and atmosphere that really stayed with me. I stayed in five hotels and resorts and was very rejuvenated.

Once again there was a real desire for life. It's to understand the desire for adventure, the small, fun moments that often slip without being noticed.

I was actually up until 3am to play music from the TV (personalized by my name, and even below that, I sat on my balcony and soaked in the city skyline.

What makes it even more special is the five known, kind of personalized service. My pillows sewed my name onto them. It was a small thing on paper, but at that moment it felt huge.

To be honest, I've become a little emotional. Just as someone was thinking every detail to make an impression, but also to make me feel like I was watching. What remains long after check-out was hospitality.

    Sustainability meets luxury

Like the Penthouse, the Bohemia Beach Club operates 100% solar power and continues its five commitments to environmentally friendly practices in line with global sustainability standards.

Whether you're looking for a day in the sun or want to dance the night, the Bohemia Beach Club encapsulates the perfect blend of charm, music and unforgettable moments that truly define the five Palm Jumeirahs.

It's easy to see why international acclaim and commitment to experience, comfort and sustainability continue to make five Palm Jumeirah recognized as one of the world's top luxury hotels.

I arrived expecting charm and a party crowd. I was truly able to watch and left an incredibly recharged feeling. And with a new definition of luxury. 5 Palm Jumeirah did not only impress me. It reminded me why travel should always surprise you
