The London-based leading sustainable travel agency is celebrating the recent addition of two new junior Africa sales consultants to the team.
Far & Wild Travel is an award-winning tour operator and ATTA member, specializing in tailor-made and sustainable holidays around the world with a specialist expertise in Africa.
Ottilie Dick, a company alumnus, and Tamara Jack, who has a degree in Business Management and Geography, recently joined the company as a sales consultant in Africa, bringing new energy and passion to responsible tourism.
Joining Far & Wild, Ottilie said: “I've always loved travel and feel lucky to have visited so many incredible countries around the world. But Africa, in particular, has always captivated me. Working for a responsible company like Far & Wild is truly inspiring.
Born and raised in Kenya, Tamara said, “It's very rewarding to combine my love for Africa with the academic background of a business that really cares about people and the environment. In the first two months alone, I have already visited St. Helena and visited Stelena. Mammals are a dream job!”
Over the years, Far & Wild has gained a strong reputation as an industry leader in sustainable travel, creating bespoke travel that offers unique experiences while also positively impacting the community and the environment.
In 2024, founder and CEO Ben Morrison was inducted into the World Travel Hall of Fame for “deeply shaping tourism, combining environmental advocacy with environmental advocacy, leaving a lasting legacy in the industry.” Ben is also the founder of the Flipflopi project. This is the East African movement with a mission to end single-use plastics and ensure that all other plastics are part of the circular economy.
Alistair Walls, Managing Director, Far & Wild Travel, said: “At Far & Wild, we aim to hire ambitious individuals who share our passion for sustainable travel.
