The list was compiled by experts at GO Outdoors who analyzed Google reviews, Instagram posts and Google searches to reveal the best woodlands and woodlands in the UK.
The Padre Valley came fourth on the list alongside Thetford Forest in Suffolk.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the woodland has waterfalls, streams and winding trees, giving it a fairy-tale feel.
It is made of ancient oak and birch, with the River Burbage flowing through it and crossed by wooden bridges and stepping stones.
Another walk, also close to Greater Manchester, was Macclesfield Forest in Cheshire.
There are dozens of walking routes that take you through the towering trees, and it looks especially beautiful on a crisp winter day.
The New Forest in Hampshire ranked first on the list, followed by the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. Tollymore Forest in County Down, Northern Ireland came in third place.
