Road travel gives drivers the opportunity to incorporate a wide range of interesting attractions and destinations from the comfort of their car. And doing that from a camper van is even more convenient as you don't have to pay for accommodation along the way.
If you are currently looking for a place to go on your next holiday, members of the UK group on Facebook shared what they claimed to be the most popular route to travel around Europe. Gordon Cross wrote: “Obviously, this is the most popular route travelling around Europe and has become the ultimate. Maybe someday.”
He attached pictures of Europe and routes of the most popular travel routes through the continent. There is no “official” starting point on the route. With flexibility, you can start from any point.
If it starts in London, the route will take you to Cornwall, then through the Midlands and then to Ireland to visit the West Coast before returning to Dublin, passing through Northern Ireland and taking the ferry to Scotland.
After coming up to the Highlands, the route continues south through Edinburgh, heading to Harwich and taking the ferry to the Netherlands. After a stop in Berlin, Germany, the route takes the ferry to Denmark, crossing the bridge to Sweden, then heading north by going to Bergen, Norway.
Then continue further north, through Sweden, through Finland, then via the south coast and via Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to Krakow, Poland.
After a quick halt in the Czech Republic, the route continues to Austria, Hungary and then Romania, travelling through Bulgaria to Istanbul, Turkey.
Then, before returning north on the Greek coast to Bosnia in Croatia and Herzegovina, we return to Athens in southern Greece, then through Rome and Florence, before heading back north to Southern Italy and Sicily. .
After driving through Austria, they entered Southern Germany, stopped in Switzerland and then arrived in Monaco and Marseille via Italy before returning to Central Europe.
After that, you will pass through the French coast, then to Spain, where you will pass through Barcelona and then towards Malaga before entering Portugal. He then crosses Spain and returns to French boarding students, then heads north for Paris. The last stop is Belgium, before the ferry was returned to London.
