    Emirates Sky Cargo and Astral Air Signature Moo

    Emirates Sky Cargo, the cargo division of the world's largest international airline, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) from Astral Airlines, one of Africa's leading cargo aviation, to explore ways to boost global trade with the continent. It's there.

    Astral Aviation operates an extensive in African network of 50 destinations offered via scheduled and ad hoc charters. In line with the vast global network of over 145 destinations and passenger aircraft fleets and dedicated cargo ships, the partnership highlights Africa's prominence as a competitive player in global trade. It's there.

    Both airlines bring special experiences in handling sensitive cargo, including fresh fruits, vegetables and life-saving medicines.

    The deal was signed in Air Cargo Africa by Sanji Fugadia, senior vice president of Emirates Sky Cargo and CEO of Astral Aviation Limited, and Badru Abbas, senior vice president of Emirates Sky Cargo.

    Under the terms of the MOU, Emirates SkyCargo and Astral Air will work closely with many initiatives, including expanding interline options for cargo and expanding space contracts, increasing connectivity and increasing the scope of African companies.

    Commenting on the partnership, Badr Abbas said: “Of the 20 fastest growing economies, Africa has great growth potential, coupled with bold trade ambitions.

    “Given the breadth of our network, all wide body fleets and our specialized product portfolio, we are well suited to help our business reach new suppliers and customers in every corner of the world.

    “This partnership with Astral Airlines will strengthen our long-standing commitment to the market and create mutually beneficial economic opportunities to maintain products quickly, reliably and efficiently.”

    Gadia said: “Today, we are introducing our commercial partnership for over 15 years, reflecting our shared vision to enhance air cargo solutions from and within and within Africa. Together, we are locking up new opportunities. It will lift, drive innovation and strengthen global trade connectivity.”
